A Cup

Mojo 105

Happy New Year all! I hope your holiday season was fun, joyful, and lovely. I begin this year determined to get my act together. As part of that, I’ve compiled all sorts of Mojo inducing things.

I want to start things off right (or very wrong) with this hysterical video that is pretty much me before EVERY crit group meeting. Warning: There is definitely adult language, as well as a cat. Also, you might laugh so hard you cry...or pull something in your gut or both.

Didn’t Lisa have such great hints for our resolutions yesterday? I love it when she pulls out research! If you didn’t have a chance to read it, you can here.

How about making a resolution to be less busy Here is an awesome post  about how we tend to judge worth based on how “busy” we are. We need to stop that!

A few years ago, Maggie Stiefvater wrote a fabulous blog post on setting realistic and measurable goals rather than making resolutions. Sadly, she has moved her blog and I couldn’t find it in the archives. But I did find her humorous post on her favorite music of 2012, so I’ll give you that instead!

I saw this picture on Facebook. This is a great way to lighten the housework load to make more time for wordage:

My most Mojo inspiring thing this week was a gift from my parents.

Isn’t it awesome?! A pocket watch plays a very important role in my WIP.

And as always, I leave you with a musical inspiration. Today you are invited to live a “Life Less Ordinary!”
